三十多年来，嘉远技术团队在两代创始人的带领下始终坚持“以实用为出发点、以现有成熟工业平台为基础、以高效、精密、简洁为目标”的研发理念，在充分注重产品技术安全、稳定和可靠的前提下突出其性价比，研发具有嘉远特色的、让市场和用户能够主动接受的电动汽车技术和产品，取得了丰硕的成果。随着嘉远在电动汽车领域的研究不断丰富和深入，嘉远技术团队也在不断壮大。现在嘉远公司有电机、自动控制、电化学、整车设计、电气设计、工艺造型设计、结构工艺设计等各类专业人才，形成了以70年代和80年代为主的技术团队核心，拥有博士5人、硕士14人、本科以上学历56人，大专学历42的嘉远技术团队。
