SCOPE  AND  IMPACT  OF  POSITION  ON  THE  ORGANIZATION:
·  Ensuring  execution  of  production  plan  in  coordination  with  production  planning  and  by  assigning  competent  manpower
·  Promoting  continuous  improvement  through  SDMA,  AIW,  creation  and  up  gradation  of  standard  work  and  total  employee  involvement
·  Motivating  operators  for  total  employee  involvement
·  Participation  in  SDMS,  AIW
·  Ability  to  define  standard  work  using  proper  forms
·  Six  Sigma  Lean
MAIN  RESPONSIBILITIES:
·  Ensure  all  Operations  are  being  performed  safely
·  Achieve  highest  level  of  operation  efficiency
·  Ensure  execution  of  production  plan  by  supporting  Team  Leaders  with  appropriate  allocation  of  manpower  &  resources
·  Improve  product  quality  by  focusing  on  Man,  Material,  Method,  Material,  Measurement  and  Mother  Nature
·  Ensure  mid  and  long  range  flexibility  in  VS  production  system
·  Promote  continuous  improvement  by  facilitation  of  Supervisor  Improvement  Team  and  participation  in  Cross  Functional  Teams
·  Support  implementation  of  TPM  &  Six  Sigma  Lean
·  Obtain  required  service  and  support  from  VS  and  central  functions  to  perform  mission
