MAIN  TASKS:

Matching
application:




Comparing  the  customer  specifications
and  WABCO  specifications
Resolve  the  gap  in  consultation  with
product  group  engineer  and  customer
Check  proper  matching  of  installation
interfaces
Conducting  system  calculations  and
assessing  parameter  settings
Check  that  the  devices  would  operate
satisfactorily  in  the  vehicle  operating  environment

Validation
of  application




Check  installation  in  the  vehicle
Check  function  in  the  vehicle
Homologate  or  support  customer  to
homologate  according  to  national  and  international  regulations  as
appropriate
Get  special  tests  are  required  by
customer  or  specific  application  through  product  group  engineer  /  project
teams
Use  application  validation  guidelines
when  available
Support  product  group  engineer  to
develop  application  validation  guidelines  when  not  available



Matching  and  validating  applications  require  intense
cooperation  with  product  group  engineer  and  customer

Customer  application  release




Get  the  outline  drawings  approved  by
the  customer  through  Key  Account  Teams
Prepare  Customer  Application  Release
Report
Customer  instruction  and  training

Educational
qualification:




Engineering
graduate  or  diploma  engineer




Product
knowledge:




Good  knowledge
about  WABCO  products  and  system  functions




Vehicle
knowledge:




Good  knowledge
about  vehicles,  sub-systems  and  the  operating  environment




Vehicle
Testing  Knowledge:




Capable  of
instrumenting  and  conducting  vehicle  tests  using  data  acquisition  systems




Capable  of
driving  vehicles




Communication




Clarity  in
communication




Good  proficiency
in  local  language  (customer  communication)  and  English  (report  writing)




CAD  (Optional)



Ability  to  work  with  Digital  Mock  Ups  -  Interface
checking  and  fouling  checking
