Functionally/operationally  reporting  to  the  Strategic  Sourcing  ManagerHierarchically  to  the  Country  Purchasing  Manager  -  China  The  resource  will  be  responsible  for  the  global  sourcing  projects  for  localization  of  components  in  the  reference  area  across  the  different  commodities  and  in  line  with  the  global  strategy  and  global  sourcing  objectives  .  The  function  will  manage  the  supplier  relationship  at  the  strategic  level  to  ensure  that  all  sourcing  initiatives  are  fully  engaged  at  the  operation  levels.  
Main  roles  and  responsibilities:-  focalized  on  identification,  selection  and  development  of  new  key  suppliers  to  assure  global  performance  on  quality,  delivery  and  cost  objectives  across  the  different  Business  Units  of  the  Group.  -The  function  will  be  responsible  for  developing  a  robust  business-wide  sourcing  as  required  to  ensure  supply  chain  performance  to  the  highest  standards.  -Be  responsible  for  managing  and  negotiating  supply  agreements  and  non-disclosure  agreements  working  with  the  buyer  of  reference  commodity  to  implement  sourcing  decision  and  supporting  of  overall  supply  chain  goals  and  objectives.-Take  action  with  reference  commodity  team  to  reduce  costs  that  are  focused  on  creating  greater  efficiencies  or  quality  improvement  for  a  given  project  or  business  plan.  -To  engage  in  undertaking  supply  market  analysis  (understand  trends,  cost  drivers  etc),  understanding  best  practice  supply  chain  management  within  relevant  markets  and  use  this  information  to  provide  fact  based  advice  to  support  decision  making.
  
Required  qualifications:-Degree  in  management/mechanical  engineering  or  business  administration-more  than  5  years  experience  in  purchasing/supply  chain  in  automotive  sector.  -Strong  project  and  management  skills  with  organizational  capabilities  and  strong  business  orientation.  -Excellent  numerical,  report  writing,  presentation  and  IT  tools  skills.  -Effective  verbal  and  written  communication  in  English-negotiations  skills  are  essential.  -Flexible  schedule  to  include  the  ability  to  travel  frequently  in  the  reference  area
