Business  developer  at  Production  Control  in  China
Scania  has  decided  to  install  a  3rd  industrial  hub  in  China  besides  the  industrial  installations  in  Europe  and  Latin  America.  A  project  within  P&L  have  been  initiated  to  develop  and  implement  this  hub.  One  part  of  this  project  is  Production  Control,  which  is  responsible  for  setting  up  all  the  production  planning  processes  for  the  new  industrial  hub  in  China.
As  a  Business  Developer  within  Production  Control,  you  will  be  a  key  player  when  it  comes  to  shaping  the  future  of  Scania’s  logistics  strategy.  You  will  belong  to  the  project  organisation  but  work  closely  together  with  a  team  of  motivated  and  curious  business  developers.  We  offer  a  job  in  an  international  environment  with  multiple  contact  surfaces,  both  internally  and  externally.

Your  work  assignment
Production  Control  is  responsible  for  the  Order  to  Delivery  processes  including  strategic,  tactical  &  operational  production  planning.  In  the  project,  you  will  be  a  part  of  an  exciting  journey  to  integrate  the  new  industrial  hub  in  China  in  the  Production  Control’s  processes  and  support  the  project  with  cross-functional  investigations  as  needed.  You  will  challenge  and  improve  the  current  way  of  working  by  developing  and  implementing  new  processes,  systems,  tools  and  methods.
As  the  project  is  in  an  early  phase,  you  will  have  a  great  opportunity  to  have  an  impact  on  the  future  of  logistics  for  Scania  in  China.

Your  profile
We  are  looking  for  a  business  developer  candidate  with  great  interest  in  Supply  Chain  business  development  who  is  service  minded,  have  strong  problem  solving  abilities  and  a  passion  for  improving  the  world  around  you.  You  are  creative  and  innovative.  You  have  strong  communication  skills  and  are  good  at  creating  and  maintaining  cross-functional  cooperation.
-  Experience  and/or  knowledge  within  Logistics,  in  special  the  Order  to  Delivery  correlated  processes  and  the  Planning  functional  areas
-  Academic  degree  (probably  a  master  of  science  within  Engineering  or  Logistics)
-  Skills  in  designing  and  crafting  solutions  with  Analytics  and  Automation  platforms  will  be  considered  as  an  advantage
-  Ability  to  engage  effectively  with  software  and  process  developers  and  co-work  in  an  Agile  setup
-  Competence  in  lean,  problem  solving,  process  engineering  and  project  management.
-  Ability  to  fluently  communicate  in  both  Chinese  &  English,  both  written  and  spoken.

Your  location
You  will  belong  to  the  new  China  Production  Control  organisation  TCOP,  but  will  report  to  the  Production  Control  project  organisation  until  the  hub  is  operational.  Expect  an  initial  training  period  of  6-9  months  depending  on  experience  at  Scania’s  HQ  in  S？dert？lje,  Sweden.  Travel  &  accommodation  during  this  period  will  be  managed  by  Scania.  The  role  will  then  onwards  be  stationed  at  the  site  of  the  new  industrial  hub  in  Rugao,  China.  Business  trips  abroad  may  occur.
