Scania  has  taken  the  strategic  decision  to  set  up  a  3rd  industrial  hub  in  China  -  a  project  to  develop  and  implement  full-scale  assembly  operations  has  been  initiated  within  Scania  Production  &  Logistics.  One  part  of  this  project  is  the  establishment  of  a  Transmission  Assembly  plant.  We  are  now  looking  for  a  Quality  Group  Manager  for  the  Transmission  Assembly  to  join  the  project  team  to  put  industrial  processes  and  organization  in  place!

In  the  project,  you  will  be  a  part  of  an  exciting  journey  to  create  a  full-scale  production  plant  in  China.  Starting  from  zero,  the  project  team  is  responsible  to  design,  build  and  launch  production  in  a  completely  new  factory.  The  new  Transmission  Assembly  plant  will  include  processes  such  as  a  Gearbox  Assembly  Line,  Axle  Assembly  Line,  Engineering,  Quality  and  Logistics.

As  a  Quality  Group  Manager  at  Transmission  Assembly,  you  have  two  main  assignments.  One  important  task  will  be  to  recruit  and  develop  the  organization  within  quality,  methods  and  ways  of  working  with  quality  in  a  holistic  perspective  in  assembly  and  logistics.  You  want  to  be  involved  in  creating  a  challenging  and  inspiring  environment  where  keywords  such  as  energy  and  collaboration  characterize  the  relationship  between  employees,  colleagues  and  customers.  As  a  Group  Manager,  you  also  have  an  operational  role  with  overall  responsibility  of  your  staff,  work  environment,  diversity&inclusion  and  finances.  You  work  both  globally  and  in  cross-functional  forums  within  Scania  and  is  part  of  the  management.

Your  profile

We  are  looking  for  a  leader  with  experience  in  personnel  management,  well  versed  in  Chinese  culture  and  internal  rules  in  terms  of  quality  regulations  &  demands.  You  have  a  Bachelor’s  or  Master’s  degree  or  the  equivalent  knowledge  acquired  some  other  way.  Ideally,  you  have  at  least  3  years  of  work  experience  in  leadership  and  project  management.  The  mission  requires  strategic,  operational  as  well  as  administrative  skills.  You  have  a  growth  mindset  and  genuine  interest  in  building  relationships,  solving  problems,  and  pushing  for  positive  change.  We  also  believe  you  have  analytic  skills,  and  good  knowledge  of  project  management  and  change  management.
