Position  Title  :  Design  Engineer

            Report  to  :  Design  Engineer  
              
            POSITION  SUMMARY:  
            The  Design  Engineer  is  responsible  for  design  studies  and  concept  studies  and  will  serve  as  a  liaison  between  BorgWarner  engineering,  vendors  and  customers  to  ensure  product  designs.  
              
            KEY  ACCOUNTABILITIES:  
            1.  Design  and  release  turbocharger  components  and  assemblies  for  Asian  market  
            2.  3-D  math  models  and  2-D  engineering  drawings  
            EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE  
            3.  Bachelor‘s  Degree  in  Engineering  required.  
            4.  2  years  of  design  experience  
            5.  Experienced  in  mechanical  design,  3-D  modeling,  and  drawing  releases  
            6.  Experienced  in  CAD  tools  (such  as  Pro-E,  UG,  Catia)  
            7.  Solid  background  in  mechanical  engineering  design,  material  science  
            8.  Familiar  with  manufacturing  methods  (tooling),  especially  casting  technology  
            9.  Familiar  with  international  standards  (materials,  etc.)  
            10.  Good  communication  skill  in  English  and  Chinese  (written  and  spoken)  
              
            DESIRED  SKILLS  (Nice  to  have):  
            1.  Experience  in  design  or  development  of  turbo  machinery  or  IC  engines  
            3.  Knowledge  of  product  development  processes  
            4.  Other  foreign  languages  (German  preferred)
