Position  Summary:  
            Be  responsible  for  the  procurement  of  assigned  commodity  at  the  Plant.  Implement  strategies  for  commodity  in  line  with  plant  procurement  initiatives.  Documentation  and  quality  control.  
              
            Key  accountabilities/Responsibilities:  
            In  collaboration  with  the  SC  Manager,  conduct  regional  negotiations  for  commodity  prices  and  conditions  of  supply  with  potential  suppliers  to  establish  long-term  contracts.  
            Set  objectives  for  cost  reduction  and  lead  related  projects.  Identify  the  most  competitive  source  of  supply  and  decrease  the  number  of  active  suppliers  to  a  more  manageable  level.  
            Identify  innovative  methods  of  procurement  and  ensure  early  supplier  involvement.  
            Conduct  high-level  analysis  of  market  forecasts  and  trends  affecting  commodity.?  Maintain  up-to-date  knowledge  of  regional  and  global  economic  conditions  and  business  situations  that  impact  materials  within  assigned  commodities.  
            Create  supply  agreements  and  purchase  orders  in  cooperation  with  the  Purchasing  Manager  and/or  responsible  lawyer.?  
            Verify  orders  are  meeting  material  deadlines.  
            Conduct  business  review  meetings  with  supplier.  
            Secure  quality  of  delivered  materials  and  drive  supplier  development.  
            Cooperate  with  other  departments  to  solve  technical  problems  
            Any  other  tasks  assigned  by  supervisor  
              
            Requirements/Qualifications:  
            Bachelor  degree  on  mechanical  or  mechanical-electrical,  
            Minimum  3  years  Purchasing  and/or  Supplier  Chain  experience.  
            Knowledge  of  TS16949  requirements  including  APQP  and  PPAP  required.  
            Demonstrated  competence  in  negotiating  skills  and  good  logic.  
            Familiar  manufacturing  processes  and  having  good  understanding  on  each  process  cost.  
            Must  have  highly  developed  organizational  skills  including  the  ability  to  prioritize,  handle  multiple  projects  simultaneously,  and  meet  deadlines.  
            Professional  interpersonal  verbal  and  written  communication  skills  required.
