Position Title: Account Manager
Business Unit: TurboLocation: Shanghai
Reports to: Sales Manager
Position Summary
1> To manage customer accounts & support BorgWarner sales plans. Also responsible for: A/R collection;
2> Marketing & New business development. Key Accountabilities - Make plan and coordinate with new products & projects.
3> Recommend the products during the period of new cars development.
4> Make relationship and coordination between BW and some activities in relevant industry.
5> Make long-term plan of future market for BW.
6> Responsible for area market plan and product promotion.
7> Follow and assort with new projects.
8> Master BW‘s current ability of development and production in time.
9> Know about BW‘s future development layout.
10> Visit current clients, get to know customers‘ new requirements, pass the information and lead the projects.
11> Express BW‘s culture and service conception to the clients, and establish good relationship with them.
12> Get integrated information of customers, including production plan, organization chart, personnel adjustment and investment proportion so as for BW to take relevant action.
13> Get to know the market situation and make aviso of domestic market research and development trend forecast.
Education/Experience
1> Bachelor degree or equivalent (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
2> 3+ years working experience in automotive industry, automotive customer management experience desired
3> High level of analytical abilities to assess and resolve problems
4> Good knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes & systems
5> Ability to work independently
6> Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
7> Effective communication and summarizing of business dealings in the form of trip reports, customer contact reports and relevant materials
8> Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and in multi cultural groups to achieve stated goals
9> Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
