PRINCIPAL  ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.  Works  as  the  primary  contact  for  the  customer  engineering  relationship  representing  PUREM.

2.  Develops  detailed  designs  by  following  the  design  handbook  and  issuing  work  orders  to  the  designer  team

3.  Leads  vehicle  demonstrations  and  prototype  builds.

4.  Plans  and  manages  validation  activities,  organizes  test  work  packages  by  issuing  work  orders  to  the  laboratory,  in  support  of  program  milestones  (e.g.,  design  verification  tests  to  support  drawing  release,  product  validation  testing  to  support  the  production  part  approval  process)  and  publishes  required  reports.

5.  Releases  the  design  into  the  system  by  following  change  management  requirements.

6.  Provides  product  expertise  to  other  functions  (e.g.,  sourcing,  problem  solving,  etc.).

7.  Development  cost,  design  and  DFMEA  owner  and  maintainer

8.  Support  iPM  for  innovation  program  development  management.  The  innovation  PE  has  a  clear  career  development  path  to  iPM.

9.  Follows  other  tasks  assigned  by  the  line  manager.

REQUIRED  EDUCATION  BACKGROUND,  KNOWLEDGE  AND  WORKING  EXPERIENCE:

1.  Master  degree  in  mechanical  engineering,  thermal  management,  etc.

2.  Must  possess  a  mindset  of  being  a  good  researcher  and  is  willing  to  dedicate  to  development  of  new  technologies

3.  More  than  5-years’  experience  in  automotive  product  engineering,  powertrain,  heat  exchange,  intake  and  exhaust  systems  experience  preferred;

4.  Proactive,  positive,  optimistic,  self-motivated,  strong  sense  of  responsibility  and  concerned  about  details;

5.  Works  well  with  cross  functional  teams  and  must  be  a  good  team  player  with  a  spirit  of  team  collaboration;

6.  Good  English  reading,  writing,  and  communication  skills;

7.  Knowledge  of  plastic  molding,  vehicle  engines,  electronics,  and  NVH  is  an  advantage.
