Objective  of  the  Position
The  Product  Development  Engineer  is  responsible  for  new  product  development  of  exhaust  system..
Accountabilities

The  position  incumbent  ensures,  that
61  Works  as  primary  contact  for  customer  engineering  relationship  and  represent  eberspaecher  Engineering  in  all  cross-functional  teams  at  the  customer
61  Develops  detail  designs  by  following  design  handbook  and  issuing  work  order  to  designer  team
61  Leads  vehicle  demonstrations  and  prototype  builds
61  Plans  and  manages  validation  activities,  organizes  test  work  packages  by  issuing  work  order  to  lab,  in  support  of  program  milestones  (e.g.  design  verification  tests  to  support  drawing  release,  product  validation  testing  to  support  production  part  approval  process)  and  publishes  required  reports.
61  Releases  design  record  into  system  by  following  change  management  requirement
61  Provides  product  expertise  to  other  functions  (e.g.  sourcing,  problem  solving  etc.)

Requirement  Profile
Professional  Background  /  Basic  Qualification  /  Work  Experience:
61  Bachelor  degree  in  mechanical  engineering  or  related  field,  major  in  auto  engineering  preferred
61  More  than  5  year  experience  in  automotive  product  engineering,  Exhaust  system  experience  preferred  .
61  Leadership  as  a  cross  function  team
Technical  Expertise:
61  Good  knowledge  about  product  developing  process
61  Knowledge  on  project  management  is  plus
