Purpose
General  legal  support  to  various  business  functions.  
This  position  also  focuses  on  responsibility  to  develop/adapt,  implement,  oversee  an  effective  compliance  program  for  Volvo  Car  China  together  with  and  as  an  active  member  of  a  cross  functional  team,  all  in  accordance  with  corporate  compliance  requirements.    
Integrate  the  compliance  program  with  group  policies  and  standards.  
Enhance  compliance  adherence  culture  in  business  activities


Key  responsibilities
General  legal  support  in  all  legal  areas  under  Legal  Dept's  responsibility.
Supporting  the  business  handling  intellectual  property  rights  matters.
Develop/adapt,  implement  and  oversee  an  effective  compliance.    program,  thereto  related  policies,  guidelines  and  processes  for  Volvo  Car  China,  together  with  and  as  an  active  member  of  a  cross  functional  team,  all  in  accordance  with  corporate  compliance  requirements.    Integrate  the  compliance  program  with  group  policies  and  standards.  Enhance  compliance  adherence  culture  in  business  activities.
Identify  and  conduct  compliance  training  needs  and  key/prioritized  compliance  activities,  as  approved  within  the  cross  functional  team.  
Conduct  investigations  and/or  due  diligence  to  ensure  the  effectiveness  of  compliance  program  and  its  compliance  with  group  standards  and  local  laws
Provide  daily  consultation  on  compliance  enquiries
Maintain  and  continuously  improve  compliance  remediation  measures
As  decided  within  the  cross  functional  team,  conduct  compliance  risk  assessments  and  audits  for  the  local  entities/business  units
Any  other  responsibilities  that  may  be  identified  by  the  business  and/or  the  manager  from  time  to  time.  


Qualifications
LLM,  oversea  education  background  will  be  better
Minimum  5  years’  solid  working  experience  as  inhouse  legal  counsel  or  in  law  firm,  which  work  should  be  directly  related  to  Key  Responsibilities.
Compliance  experience  in  MNC  or  foreign  law  firm  is  preferred  
High  ethics  and  integrity,  mature  and  independent,  clear  in  logic  and  good  in  judgment,  able  to  work  with  self-motive  and  independence  
Excellent  verbal  and  written  communication,  training  and  presentation  skills  in  English  and  Mandarin  
Understanding  of  industry  compliance  trends  and  compliance  issues  
Strong  analytical,  process  management  and  implementation  skills,  and  able  to  work  effectively  in  a  matrix  management  environment  
Strong  teamwork  and  interpersonal  skills  with  ability  to  interface  with  cross-functional  and  cross-region  teams,  able  to  work  under  pressure  and  willing  to  take  challenges  
Problem  resolution,  sensitivity  to  issues  and  strong  facilitation  skills  
Process  oriented  and  pro-active,  responsible  and  responsive
