Main  Purpose
To  steer,  optimise  and  support  the  supply  chain  process  in  the  plant.  
Secure  material  availability  from  external  suppliers  to  plant
Be  single  point  of  contact  with  supplier  regarding  supply  chain  issues
  
Main  Tasks
Manage  the  plant  call  off  systems  towards  the  suppliers
-  monitor  the  daily  calculations  of  the  call  off  for  batch  suppliers
-  data  input  of  steering  parameters  in  the  local  system  
-  analyse  the  parameters  used  in  the  call  off  calculation  and  make  proposals  for  improvements  
Manage  the  different  messages  that  are  used  for  sequence  suppliers
  -  monitor  the  correctness  of  the  data  that  is  sent  out  to  sequence  suppliers
  -  handle  diiferent  issues  with  respect  to  the  data  communication  with  the  sequence  suppliers
  -  discuss  improvement  proposals  with  parties  involved
  -  handle  invoice  control  for  sequentiall  deliveries.  
  -  develop  systems  and  routines  when  new  suppliers/sequence  plants  are  introduced  
  Manage  the  different  messages  that  are  used  for  logistic  service  providers
  -  monitor  the  correctness  of  the  data  that  is  sent  out  to  logistic  service  providers
  -  handle  different  issues  with  respect  to  the  data  communication  with  the  service  providers
  -  discuss  improvement  proposals  with  parties  involved
  -  develop  systems  and  routines  when  new  service  providers  are  introduced  
Contribute  to  the  optimisation  of  the  supply  chain  process  by  continously  analysing  key  performance  indicators
  (precision,  cost  and  lead  time)  and  making  proposals  for  improvements.  
Lead  multi  functional  teams  and  coordinate  activites  in  :
-  stock  optimisation  
-  inboud  transport  process  (full  loads,  milkruns,…)
-  act  as  business  representative  in  system  development  projects    for  material  planning  systems  
Follow  up  of  logistic  costs  for  the  plant,  and  give  input  in  the  budget  process  
Represent  the  local  MP&L  department  in  different  fora  
  
4.  Responsibility
Report  to  the  Supply  Chain  Manager  within  the    MP&L  department  
Secure  that  the  main  tasks  listed  above  are  fulfilled  according  to  the  agreed  deliverables.  
  
  
  
  
6.  Competence  Requirements
Senior  high  school  degree,  or  equal  by  experience  
3-5    years  of  relevant  experience  within  the  MP&L  department  
Knowledge  of  the  PPM  (pre  production  management)  processes  and  systems  
Knowledge  of  material  planning  plant  systems.  
Interested  in  IT  related  issues,  good  knowledge  of  personal  computing  tools  (office  tools,  SQL,  ….)  
Knowledge  of  the  logistic  process  within  the  plant,  with  focus  on  the  planning  processes  within  VCC  
Language  skills  :  fluent  in  english  
Deep  knowledge  of  material  ordering  processes
