Summary  of  the  Role:
1.  Develop  specifications  of  car  accessories
2.  Development  of  software  specifications  (for  car  ECU)
  
Main  responsibilities:
1.  Develop  software  specifications  so  that  
our  suppliers  can  develop  the  software
2.  Develop  specifications  of  different  car  accessories  (e.g.  interior  carpets,  body  style  kits,  load  carriers,  towing  hooks)  so  that  our  suppliers  can  develop  the  components
3.  Manage  the  implementation  together  with  suppliers,  purchase  dept,  manufactoring  to  reach  goal  with  regards  to  function,  cost,  timing,  quality  
4.  Ensure  that  the  vehicle  is  prepared  to  allow  accessories  to  be  fitted  (e.g.  secure  packaging)  
5.  Ensure  that  components  can  be  assembled  in  our  dealer  network.  Support  in  developing  assembly  instructions  
6.  Initiate  and  follow  up  the  testing
7.  Manage  the  implementation  together  with  suppliers,  purchase  dept,  Volvo  Car  Aftersales  dept  to  reach  goal  with  regards  to  function,  cost,  timing,  quality
  
Qualifications:
1.  At  least  bachelor  degree  in  electrical/electronics/software  (or  similar)
2.  Experience  from  automotive  OEM  in  the  area  of  product  development  in  the  E/E  area  (at  least  two  years).  Experience  of  SW  for  embedded  systems  preferred.  /  Extensive  experience  of  multiplexed  vehicles  incl  diagnostics
3.  Fluent  in  English,  both  written  and  spoken  
4.  Good  CATIA  V5  knowledge  
5.  Broad  knowledge  of  product  development  in  the  mechanical  areas
6.  Basic  knowledge  of  the  E/E  system  in  the  car
  
Experience  Required:
Experience  from  automotive  OEM  in  the  area  of  product  development  in  the  E/E  area  (at  least  2  years).
