To  lead  communication  work  within  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu    and  secure  that  messages  are  consistent,  easy  to  understand  and  made  available  to  all  who  are  concerned.  
To  strategically  lead  and  develop  the  overall  internal  communication  within  the  plant.
Develop  messages,  communication  strategies  and  communication  plans  in  collaboration  with  the  Communication  Network  in  order  to  enhance  knowledge,  and  create  understanding  for  objectives,  strategies  and  prioritized  areas.
To  support  cross-unit  communication  of  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu-related  issues.
Support  Plant    Management  in  communication.  
Develop  existing  and  new  media  together  with  the  VCC  and  Plant  Communication  Network.  
Maintain  correctness  in  the  overall  communication  within  the  division's  information  channels.  
To  implement  information  strategy,  guidelines,  working  methods  and  tools  according  to  Volvo  Cars'  overall  guidelines.
To  lead  overall  communication  activities  in  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu.
To  ensure  that  the  overall  information  is  correct  and  aligned  internally  as  well  as  with  Volvo  Cars'  overall  information  strategies.
To  maintain  and  develop  the  information  channels  within  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu.
To  co-ordinate  communication  in  such  a  way  that  the  division  communicates  internally  and  externally  with  one  voice.
To  represent  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu,  together  with  other  Communication  Managers,  in  the  VCC  Internal  Communication  Network.
To  secure  coordination  of  cross-functional  communication  in  Volvo  Cars  Chengdu  -related  issues.
  
Competence  Requirements
A  fundamental  knowledge  in  communication,  by  education  or  experience.  
Fluent  in  English  and  Mandarin
Business  acumen  and  understanding  for  the  business  context,  to  make  communication  become  an  integrated  part  of  the  day-to-day  business.  
Ability  to  drive  collaboration  between  units,  to  achieve  synergies  and  in  order  to  gain  mutual  benefits  through  communication.
