Department  The  Finance  department  has  the  multiple  responsibilities  of  accounting,  internal  control,  treasury/tax  and  financial  control  for  Volvo  China  operations.  As  a  dynamic  part  of  VCC  the  Finance  department  works  in  close  cooperation  with  all  functions  to  support  product  development,  marketing,  purchasing,  manufacturing  and  administration.

Main  responsibilities
?      Monitor  monthly  accounting  closing  and  prepare  monthly  financial  statements  in  accordance  with  new  PRC  GAAP  and  IFRS.
?      Develop  accounting  procedures  to  ensure  smooth  running  of  the  operation  as  well  as  the  accurate  and  timely  reporting.  
?      Oversee  all  accounting  activities  such  as  maintain  chart  of  accounts,  monitor  proper  accounting  records.
?      Manage  accounting-related  projects  (e.g.,  share  service  among  Volvo  China  and  the  joint  ventures)
?      Liaison  with  internal/external  auditors  and  bureaus;  and  with  internal  divisions  and  other  departments  on  operational  matters.
?      Support  the  development  of  financial  systems  and  processing.

Qualifications  
?      Bachalor  degree  in  accounting/finance/economics.
?      5  plus  years  of  experience  in  fiance  or  accounting  position  in  a  manufacturing/services  industry.  Share-service  experience  is  a  plus.
?      Mid-level  accountant  certificate,  ACCA/CPA  is  preferrable.
?      Thorough  knowledge  and  understanding  of  accounting  principles  and  concepts  in  new  PRC  GAAP  and  IFRSs
?      Possess  working  knowledge  of  SAP.
?      Process  Improvement  mindset  with  experience  in  defining  finance  processes  and  controls
?      Good  communication  skills  to  interface  effectively  in  both  English  and  Chinese
?      Ability  to  work  effectively  with  multiple  deadlines  and  competing  priorities.
?      Broad  general  product  and  business  knowledge  in  order  to  adequately  interpret  operating  results,  studies  and  analyses.  General  knowledge  of  all  functional  areas  as  they  relate  to  the  total  business.
