Main  responsibilities:
1.Work  together  with  Volvo  headquarters  suspension  engineers  to  understand  and  take  over  design  and  engineering  specification  for  local  development.  
2.Design  optimization  of  suspension  system  and  components/tuneable  parts  for  optimized  attributes  and  robustness  to  meet  China  customer  expectation  and  suit  China  road  and  driving  condition.
3.Delivery  of  program  deliverable  items  for  all  program  milestones,  with  timing,  quality  and  cost  target  in  controlled.
4.Involve  in  local  supplier  evaluation  and  choice,  deliver  technical  requirement  and  information  to  suppliers,  prepare  and  sign  off  technical  agreement.  
5.Develop  suspension  system  and  components  verification  plan  (both  component  level  &  vehicle  level),  monitor  and  sign  off  for  engineering  approval.
6.Prepare  and  release  engineering  specification  and  CAD  data  in  Volvo  system.
  
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's  degree  in  Automotive  Engineering  or  Mechanical  Engineering
2.Good  knowledge  of  suspension  system  function,  structure,    principle  and  attributes.  
3.Minimum  2  years  of  OEM  chassis  engineering  experience  or    2  years  suspension  system/component  tier-one  supplier  engineering  experience.
4.Skilled  in  computer  programs  and  familiar  with  office  software  such  as  Word,  Excel  and  PowerPoint
5.Excellent  analytical,  problem  solving,  manufacturing  and  engineering  skills,    familiar  with  problem  solving  and  engineering  tools  such  as  8D,  6Sigma  and  DFMEA
6.Familiar  at  least  one  with  CAD/CAE  software  such  as  AutoCAD,  Catia,  Nastran,  etc.
7.Fluent  in  English  speaking,  good  at  presentation  and  written  communication  in  English.
