Summary  of  the  Role  As  an  Engineer  at  Powertrain  Engineering  you  are  responsible  of  subsystems  and  components  in  Engine,  Transmission  or  Powertrain  Installation  components.
You  lead  the  development,  ie  design  and  release,  liaise  with  purchase  and  suppliers  and  manufacturing.  

Main  responsibilities
1.  Design  Complex  casting  such  as  Cylinder  Head  and  Cylinder  Block  
OR
2.  Design  internal  and  external  engine  subsystems  and  components  such  as  valve-,crank,  auxiliary  drive-  and  turbo  systems
OR
3.  Design  PT  Installation  subsystems  and  components  such  as  inlet-,exhaust-  and  cooling  system
4.  Lead  Engineering  activities  related  to  localisation  of  existing  components  to  Chinese  suppliers    

Qualifications  
We  are  looking  for  engineers  with  qualification  in  following  areas:
1.  Excellent  skills  in  Catia  V5,  3D  and  2D  including  dimensional  and  functional  tolerances.
2.  Familiar  with  manufacturing  methods  as  casting,  injection  moulding,  forging  or  stamping.
3.  Familiar  with  quality  assurance  methods  as  FMEA,  DV  and  PV  testing  and  how  they  are  applied  in  the  development  process
4.  Experience  and  knowledge  of  statistical  methods  for  test  planning  and  data  analysis.
5.  Good  knowledge  about  CAE-tools
6.  Self  initiative
7.  Fluent  in  written  and  oral  English  with  good  communication  and  team  work  skills
8.  Drivers  license
        
Experience  Required  
We  are  looking  for  PT  engineers  with  a  range  of  experience  from  newly  examined  to  several  years  of  Engine/Transmission/Powertrain  Installation  developments
Competencies
Bachelor  of  Science  or  above  within  automotive/mechanical  engineering
