Main  Purpose
Leading  operationally  and  financially  the  daily  operations  within  the  administrative  area  as  well  as  the  development  in  that  area.
  
Main  Tasks
Secure  the  supply  of  parts  from  all  Volvo  Car  Corporations  (VCC)  Suppliers  
Secure  the  delivery  performance  of  all  VCC  Suppliers  
Secure  the  stock  levels  and  control  the  obsolete  material  
Plan  and  develop  competence  
Operational  development  short  and  long  term  
  
Responsibility
The  Manager  Inbound  Logistics  &  Supply  Chain  is  operationally  and  financially  responsible  for  the  daily  operations  within  the  Inbound  Logistics  &  Supply  Chain  area  as  well  as  the  development  in  that  area.
Areas  of  responsibilities  :
  
Procurement  and  material  control  (Dep.  Supply  Chain  Coordination  &  Goods  Receiving)  
Competence  development  within  responsible  departments  
Financial  control  within  responsible  departments  
Operational  development  within  responsible  departments  
  
  
Competence  Requirements
Higher  Logistics  Vocational  Education  or  equal  education  supplemented  with  specific  courses  in  the  logistics  field.  
10  –  12  years  relevant  work  experience  
Very  good  Management  competences  
A  "peoples  manager"  who  is  flexible  and  immune  to  stress  
An  integrator  on  relations  towards  different  departments  and  organizations.  
Very  service  minded  towards  internal  and  external  customers/suppliers  
Project  experience  in  logistics  management  areas  
Solid  knowledge  of  logistics-,  Business  Economics-  and  Business  Skills  techniques  and  methodologies.        
Good  written  and  oral  knowledge  of  the  English
Excellent  communicative  and  interpersonal  skills.
