Main  Tasks
·              To  manage,  develop  and  follow  up  the  department  work  in  accordance  with:
-  Superior  VCC  &  VCM  requirements.
-  Policy  and  Strategies.
-  Agreed  Objectives.
-  To  manage,  develop  and  follow  up  MP&L  Production  Planning,Pre-Series  &  BoM    processes.
-  Manage  and  develop  the  members  of  the  department,  and  assure  that  required  competence  exists.
Assure  and  manage  logistics  activities  regarding:  
-  New  products
-  Model  year  changes
-  Administrative  Logistics  systems
-  Other  logistic  projects,  pre-studies  and  tasks
Actively  lead  in  logistics  development  within  the  logistics  process    in  accordance  with:  
-  VCC  and  VCM  requirements
-  VCM    business  concept,  policy  and  strategy
-  VCM    objectives
Responsibility
-  Compile  and  distribute  reports  on  the  performance  of  the  concerned  processes.
-  Department  planning  and  assurance  of  department  resources.
-  Receive  and  distribute  internal  and  external  assignments,  studies  and  projects.
-  Run  and  follow  up  projects  connected  to  the  responsibility  area
-  Receive  and  communicate  internal  and  external  information  with  concerned  parties.
-  Develop,  establish  and  apply  VCC  strategies  and  procedures  within  the  department.
-  Within  personal  responsibility  establish,  maintain  and  visit  contacts  within  and  outside  native  country.
-  Develop,  document  and  maintain  personal  competence  within  areas  such  as;
·                  Management.
·                  VCC  quality  system.
·                  Process  and  product  strategies.
·                  MP&L  &  Program  process.
·                  Organizations  and  processes  within  VCC  &  VCM
Competence  Requirements
Higher  Logistics  Vocational  Education  or  equal  education  supplemented  with  specific  courses  in  the  logistics  field.  
10  –  12  years  relevant  work  experience  
Excellent  Management  competences  
An  integrator  on  relations  towards  different  departments  and  organizations.  
Very  service  minded  towards  internal  and  external  customers/suppliers  
Project  experience  in  logistics  management  areas  
Solid  knowledge  of  logistics-,  Business  Economics-  and  Business  Skills  techniques  and  methodologies.        
Good  written  and  oral  knowledge  in  English
Excellent  communicative  and  interpersonal  skills.
