职位描述

Summary  of  the  Role
Development  EDS  (wiring  harness  &  ingoing  components)

Main  responsibilities
1.  Develop  wiring  harness  to  support  the  vehicle  E/E  system  including  schematics,  packaging  models  (CATIA),  complexity  charts  and  wiring  harness  drawing
2.  Ensure  that  appropriate  ingoing  components  (e.g.  connectors)  are  utilized  and,  if  needed,    develop  new  components  in  line  with  Volvo  Car  technical  requirements
3.  Montitor  and  support  the  EDS  suppliers  technical  staff  in  their  implementation
4.  Ensure  that  EDS  can  be  packaged  in  the  vehicle  and  that  it  can  be  easily  assembled
5.  Manage  the  implementation  together  with  suppliers,  purchase  dept,  manufactoring  to  reach  goal  with  regards  to  function,  cost,  timing,  quality

Qualifications
1.  University  degree
2.  Experience  from  automotive  OEM  in  the  area  of  product  development  in  the  E/E  area  (at  least  two  years)  alternatively  experience  from  EDS  supplier  in  the  area  of  EDS  development
3.  CATIA  V5  knowledge  (at  least  basic  competence),  CHS  experience  is  an  advantage
4.  Fluent  in  English,  both  written  and  spoken

Experience  Required
Experience  from  automotive  OEM  in  the  area  of  product  development  in  the  E/E  area  (at  least  two  years)  alternatively  experience  from  EDS  supplier  in  the  area  of  EDS  development

Competencies
CATIA,  EDS  harness  drawing  tool,  English
