Summary  of  the  Role  

This  role  will  take  lead  for  activities  with  Quality  incidents  in  0-km  and  field

Main  responsibilities

1.  Identify  and  coordinate  /  drive  supplier  manufacturing  process  quality  concern  towards  final  resolution  cross  commodities  (whole  car)    
2.  Act  on  plant  quality  issue  in  order  to  solve  issues  ASAP  to  avoid  stop  delivery  and  reassembling  of  cars.  Drive  issues  to  secure  supplier  implementation  of  ICA  and  PCA    
3.  Drive  activities  at  Current  Model  Quality  (CMQ)  Team,  related  to  supplier  manufacturing  process  quality  concerns  during  analysis,  problem  solving  and  corrective  action  implementation  phase        
4.  Identify  and  resolve  serious  quality  deviations,  Stop  Shipments  and  drive  to  solution      
5.  Communication  with  supplier  and  site  STA  organization  to  solve  quality  issues    
6.  Warranty  cost  reduction  for  VCC  and  Customer  Satisfaction  improvement  by  delivering  ICA,  PCA  solutions  to  VCC  and  end  customers    
7.  Recommend  and  drive  supplier  continue  improvement.  Secure  suppliers  ICA/PCA  robustness  of  quality  solution
8.  Direct  impact  on  VCM  ability  to  deliver  cars  to  customer  and  reduce  cars  on  yard,  repair/cost  for  0-km  and  field      
9.  Take  lead  for  activities  with  incident  escalated  supplier  and  in  conjunction  with  plant  /  site  STA.  Take  lead  for  activities  with  Quality  incidents  in  0-km  and  field
10.  Understand  different  organizations,  procedures,  cultures,  industry  standards  to  manage  input  from  local  and  global  parties      

Qualifications  

1.  Bachelor  or  Above
2.  Mechanical  Engineering,  Material  Science,  EE  or  related  education  
3.  Proficiency  in  English,  oral  and  written        
4.  Ability  to  solve  problems  in  a  structured  manner      
5.  Ability  to  manage  multiple  items  at  the  same  time  without  loosing  focus  or  quality      
6.  Have  a  strong  holistic  view  and  high  degree  of  courage,  Integrity  and  business  ethics    
7.  Feeling  at  home  in  an  international  and  diverse  environment    
8.  Positive  attitude,  resolute  and  high  drive  for  results      
9.  Experienced  in  working  cross-functionally      
10.  Good  knowledge  regarding  standard  production  processes    
11.  Very  good  communication  (verbal  and  written)  and  social  skills  
12.  Frequent  travel  is  acceptable.  (At  least  40%)      

Experience  Required

  3~5  years  working  experiences  in  well-known  OEM  or  tier  1  supplier  of  automotive  industry,  in  STA  (supplier  quality  related)  area.  Experienced  in  production/production  technique,  design  and  quality  with  good  knowledge  of  BIW  or  Int/Ext  or  EE  or  Chassis  or  PT

Competencies

1.  Good  knowledge  regarding  PD  /  Plant  /  Purchasing  working  organization  and  working  procedures
2.  knowledge  of  quality  management  system
3.  Work  according  to  6  Sigma  (DMAIC)  methodologies.,  6  sigma  green  belt  is  preferred      
4.  Good  problem  solving  skill,  good  practice  of  8D,  5  WHY  and  continue  improvement      
5.  High  level  of  ability  to  judge  supplier  solutions  and  improvements  related  to  ICA/PCA.  Good  presentation  skills
